Following our experiences in 2011 we have determined that the requirements of elite and non elite bowlers and the hosting of Senior Team England Ranking events are not mutually compatible. Our objective is to encourage maximum participation in Tournament Bowling and therefore it is to the majority not the minority that we look for our core market and having considered all your views our policy for 2012 is as follows:

1. There will be 10, Tenpintour Events during 2012.

2. The Tenpintour will not offer BTBA Senior Team England Ranking Events during 2012.

3. 8 Events will be exclusively Handicap Tournaments. They will offer 3 Qualifying Squads and will be staged in the UK over a maximum of 2 days. Prize funds will be based on a pro rata £10 per head contribution from a £45 entry fee.

4. 1 Event will offer both Handicap and Age Bonus Categories. It will offer 9 Qualifying Squads, will be staged in the UK and will be promoted as the Senior English Open. It will run over 4 days. There will be separate Prize Funds for the 2 categories.

5. 1 Event will offer both Handicap and Age Bonus Categories. It will offer 12 Qualifying Squads, will include social bowling events, social events, will be promoted as the Rock Masters and staged over 5 days in Gibraltar. There will be separate Prize Funds for the 2 categories.

6. The top 6 OOM ranking Ladies & Men following the Warwickshire Senior Singles will receive complimentary entry to the Rock Masters plus 4 nights accommodation in the Official Tournament Hotel. Terms & Conditions apply.

7. The Tenpintour schedule for 2012 is as follows:

a. Feb 4^th / 5^th The Essex Senior Singles TBC

b. Feb 25^th / 26^th The Berkshire Senior Singles Newbury

c. Apr 29^th The Surrey Senior Singles Tolworth

d. May 26^th / 27^th The Dorset Senior Singles TBC

e. Jun 23^rd / 24^th The Bedfordshire Senior Singles TBC

f. Jul 14^th / 15^th The Oxfordshire Senior Singles Banbury

g. Aug 11^th / 12^th The Cambridgeshire Senior Singles Peterborough

h. Sep 14^th / 16^th The Senior English Open Newbury

i. Oct 20^th / 21^st The Warwickshire Senior Singles Nuneaton

j. Nov 15^th / 18^th The Rock Masters Gibraltar
